The Casablanca Headband was inspired by the exquisite embroidery on an original 1920s flapper dress, incorporating at least 15 different embroidery techniques in a single headpiece with unparalleled impact. Made by hand in New York, it features three-dimensional hand-embroidered silk tulle leaves, and Austrian crystal-embroidered flowers, with cut crystal beading throughout. Situated on a silk ribbon-wrapped base, the leave are hand wired, in a time-intensive process that allows the silhouette to be manipulated, creating more or less height by bending the shapes.
